Digital Safety
Digital safety is especially crucial in our society today. The internet gives us access to a variety of tools which is very beneficial, but can also lead to safety concerns. The ease of use and the fact that children so readily know how to use technology is cause for concern. Children often do not realize the consequences of their actions online and on cell phones and/or do not know how to keep their information safe. They need to know how to use these resources in a way that is safe and the only way they can learn how to do this is if we teach them about how to be safe and the consequences that can occur if they are not. This is why teaching digital safety is so important. Following is a list of resources that parents and educators can use to help teach our children about how to be safe online.
